The Time Flies when you throw it out the window

The Time Flies- RIP- 1990 to 1994.

The Time Flies were Ann Arbor's Prog Rock answer to the punk sensabilities of such icons as Iggy Pop And The Stooges, and the psychedelic meanderings of countless college acts of the day. Starting out as mostly a cover band, the Time Flies evolved into a band that covered Al Kakoczky's(Al Jones And The Famous Hungarians) music as well.

Founded on the remains of the Butchers (Al Kakoczky, Tom Anton and John Larrowe), the Time Flies were Al Kakoczky on Guitar and Vocals, Tom Anton on Guitar, Dave Wessel on Drums and Vocals and Becky Wessel on Vocals. They were quickly joined by the epic Keyboardist, Dave Levy. As the years progressed, they were joined by an array of other heavy hitting musicians which included:

Vic Kinsey(Mr. Picasso Head) Drums and Vocals
Rob Hayes and Kevin Packard (Stoney Curtis) Vocals, Bass Guitar
Ralph Yohn on Bass Guitar
Victor Perez on Vocals
Willow Kakoczky (Barbed Wire Playpen) Vocals
Lord Mark Tim Whitehouse (Whitehouse, Seeing Eye Lemmings) Vocals and Guitar

The precursors to the Time Flies involved several intertwined bands.

The Solutions Band was Al Kakoczky, Jeff King and Tom Anton(1982-1985)

Jerry Toast(1986-1990?) was Dave Wessel, Jeff King, Tom Anton, Roger Posely and Becky Wessel. Eventually they were joined by Lord Tim, Kenny Hogan, Kevin Packard, Rob Hayes, Jim Shrewsberry, Ralph Yohn and Dave Levy(taken from an oral history, courtesy of Dave Wessel of Wessel Pines Studios.
